wordpress freelancer (Baltimore)

I have an ecommerce wordpress site generally set up. I am not sure everything I want can be done and would like to find out and have implemented if possible. I am using the ecommerce template. If you have experience in wordpress and specifically ecommerce please reply. I would rather work with a freelancer than a company.
